			Entwurf: Trickle down Dies ist ein Entwurf für eine be- gehbare Stahlskulptur im Außen- raum. Sie hat die Form eines orginalgroßen U-Bootturms, der gerade aus der Erde aufgetaucht ist. Die Skulptur trägt den Namen "trickle down".(engl.: trickle = rieseln, tröpfeln, sickern) ange- lehnt an den Begriff des Trickle- down-Effekts aus der Reagan-Ära, welcher die These bezeichnet, daß Wirtschaftswachstum und allg. Wohlstand der Reichen in die unteren Schichten der Gesell- schaft durchsickere, kann man sa- gen, daß die Errungenschaften der Militärforschung und -technik teilweise für zivile,friedliche Zwecke nutzbar gemacht werden. Das U-Boot, als ausschließliche Kriegswaffe entwickelt (1864) und heute auch als Forschungsgerät (Cousteau`s Tiefseetauchboot) genutzt, steht für obrige These. Somit symbolisiert der U-Bootturm formal mit seiner Größe die massive und allgegenwärtige Präsenz des Militärs in der Welt und inhaltlich die Ambivalenz der Militärforschung und -technik. Gleichzeitig steht das U-Boot methaphorisch für alles Ver- borgene, im Untergrund passierende, Sachen, die man ahnt, aber nicht weiß und die man auch nie wirklich erfahren wird.
		This is a draft for an accessible steel sculpture in the outside space. It has the form of an orginal submarine tower, which emerged straight from the earth. The sculpture has the name "trickle down" based on the term of the trickle-down-effect from the Reagan era. The achievements of the military research and technology are made partly usable for civilian, peaceful purposes. The submarine was developed as a war weapon (1864) and is also used today as research equipment (Cousteau`s deep sea dipping boat). So the submarine tower symbolizes the substantial and pervasive operational readiness level of the military in the world and contentwise the ambivalence of the military research and technology formally with its size. At the same time the submarine stands metaphorically for all hiding, happening in the underground, things, which one suspects, but not know and which one will also never really experience.
